Cast

 

In this collection, I used the idea of light and shadow to interpret positive and negative space. Incited by clouds, I explored the inevitable and constantly moving patterns and layers of the lights and darks that live in the sky. Using laser cutting as a construction technique, I merged my knowledge of traditional sewing with creative construction to illustrate light versus shadow and the inevitable movement within clouds.
